Myra Ann Bell, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, auntie, and friend was born July 20, 1978 in Detroit, MI. Her parents Diane Bell and Milton Bell Sr. proceeded her in death. She was educated in the Detroit Public School system. Myra grew up in a large family with unwavering love and support from all of her siblings. Her family was her everything and she loved them unconditionally.
As a child, Myra was a bundle of joy, filled with excitement. You could find her somewhere following behind her older sisters or singing and dancing to one of her favorite songs, “Bad Girl” and “Ring My Bell.” She was a natural at making up her own toons and dance moves, including her signature “Myra Strut,” a dance that never failed to put a smile on people’s faces. Her love for music and dancing never faded, and she always found joy in moving to her own beat.
Throughout her adolescence, Myra was known for her ability to adapt to any situation. She had many hobbies, including cooking, eating, and hanging out with her younger brothers. She played the role of a sister and best friend, which made them inseparable. Myra also obtained many jobs, quickly being promoted to managerial positions due to her ability to take charge. She grew up to be an outspoken and fearless woman who could light up a room and did not play about her family.
Myra’s greatest joy in life was her four beautiful children–Michael, Terrance, Karim, and Tamyra. Her children were her world, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them.
Myra accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Word of Faith International Christian Center ten years ago. On Saturday, March 25, 2023, Myra was called home.
Myra lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a legacy of love and happiness. She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Michael Sulton Jr., Terrance Thomas, Karim Sulton, and Tamyra Hatchett; sisters, Belinda Bell, Antoinette “Tonie” Donaldson, Michelle Jordan, Monica Jordan, Lisa (Chris) Nelson, Roshelle (JaJa) Wesley, Miya Clark, and Myeisha Marcus; brothers, Milton Bell Jr., Anthony Bell, Marvin Bell, Michael Bell; grandchildren, Kamari, Naomi, Noah, and Karim Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her infectious energy and warm smile will forever be etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, Myra Ann Bell, and thank you for the beautiful memories you left us.
