It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Musu Gassama, who was born on April 4, 1953, in Brikama, Western, The Gambia. Musu peacefully passed away on February 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Musu was the beloved daughter of Sori Gassama and Jaka Touray. She was a devoted wife and a cherished mother to her nine children: Ismaila Jallow, Alhagie Drammeh, Saikou Drammeh, Buba Drammeh, Fatou T. Sanyang, Binta Sanyang, Ousman Sanyang, Sulayman T. Sanyang, and Buba Sanyang. Musu was also a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Musu was known for her kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering dedication to her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Although she is no longer with us, Musu's spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. May she rest in peace.

Musu Died on February 26th and was laid to rest on Friday 27th of February 2026. May her soul rest in Eternal Peace. Amen!
