Muriel C. SmithRED LIONMuriel C. Smith, 92, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015.Muriel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her kindness and sweetness brought out the best in everyone around her. Muriel had a boundless youthful spirit with a selfless dedication in caring for her family and friends. She had a vivid memory of her long and fulfilling life. During WWII, Muriel was awarded the USO brass pin for her support and dedication to the troops. Muriel was born on March 23, 1923, in Middletown, Dauphin County, to Anna Minerva Gross and Herbert E. Sealover. She was married to the late Samuel E. Smith for 63 years. She is survived by her five children, Herbert, Sharon (husband Tom Munson), Bradley (fiancée Ann Shover), Keith (wife Jeanette Downey), and Kent (wife Melanie Pool). Also sharing fond memories of Muriel are her nine grandchildren, Trevor, Tara, Nicholas, Jason, Megan, Anderson, Katie, Emily, and Ian; and two great-grandchildren. We have lost a wonderful woman who was a strong matriarch for the Smith family. Each of us has lost a part of ourselves, but all of our lives have been immeasurably enriched by being a part of Muriel's life.
