It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Lansana Bangura, who was born on July 29, 1978, and passed away on December 15, 2025, in Freetown, Western Area, Sierra Leone. He was the beloved son of Pa. Sorie I Bangura and Ya. Yainkain Bangura, and the devoted husband of Zainab Bangura, whom he married in the year 2010.

Mr. Lansana Bangura leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as the father of four children: Memunatu Bangura, Adama Bangura, Marco Bangura, and Mary Bangura. He was a loving father and husband, always putting his family first.

He received his education at Schlenker Secondary School high school, graduating in 1994, before pursuing further studies at the Government Technical Institute and graduating in 2011. Mr. Lansana Bangura dedicated his skills to working as an electrician, assisting in the National Power Authority organization.

Mr. Lansana Bangura had a passion for reading and always sought to expand his knowledge and skills. His warm smile and generous spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Tragically, Mr. Lansana Bangura was diagnosed with Multiple Mayoma, a battle he fought bravely until his untimely passing. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
