We are saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Gates, who left us on May 22, 2024, in LaGrange, Georgia. He was born on April 6, 1944, to his parents Charlie Walker and Alice Gates.

Mr. Gates lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his six children: Alfonzo Blackmon, Micheal Gates, Gregory Gates (spouse Tavera), Tiffany Daniels (spouse Lawerence), Darell Craw, and Robin Ingram (spouse Dewayne).

He was also a proud grandparent to four grandchildren who brought him immense joy. And a favorite granddaughter Kamishia Bartley.

Mr. Gates will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, love of good food, and dedication to his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Mr. Gates. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew you.
