Mr. Calvin Reed Sr.( Jihad Abdul Ali), 48, of St Louis, Missouri, passed on February 19, 2022. Mr. Calvin was born on February 02, 1974, to Bertha ford and Charles Reed. He was the only son to this union. Both parents preceded him in death.

Calvin attednded Parkway South and later received his GED from Harris Stowe State College. He was a very smart and brillant man. He worked several jobs being a jack of all trades. He becamea photographer at age 18 and worked in the family owned business. At a later age, he worked at Lambert Airport as a transporter where he met Charlene Jackson. The two were married June 24, 1998.

Calvin was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. If he told you he loved you, he meant just that. He loved all his children and their mothers. Later in life he became Muslim and believed strongly in his religion.

On February 19, 2022, Calvin was called home too soon. In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Alphy, Felia, Aaron, and Nicole; as well as his grandparents.

He leaves to mourn his second Mom, Jay Date Reed; four boys, Calvin Jr. CaRavin, Calvion and Cre-Shon; four daugthers Charmane, Cheyenne, Shakira, and Shontyonna; four sisters, Irene, Chardean (Charmin), Charvon, and Mahogany; four brothers Charles, Alonzo, Marcus, and Randal; a host of other nieces and nephews; His grandchildredn, family and friends, and also a special God Sister LaVonda.

The Family of Calvin Reed extends heartfelt appreciation for all the sympathy shown during this time of loss. May God Bless you all.
