Morris James Johnson was born February 19, 1966 to Jimmie Mae Johnson and James Edward Johnson in Crossett, Arkansas at Ashley County Medical Center.

He departed this life Friday, February 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jimmie Mae Johnson.

Morris Johnson was a hard worker and family oriented man. He also loved fishing, dancing and having fun. Country Maine was also crazy about cowboy boots. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee(Westwood).

Among those who will cherish Morris’ memory are his father, James Edward Johnson; ten siblings, Linda Johnson, Anna Johnson, Pamela Turner, Lisa Johnson(Ford), Mae Ella Johnson(Smith) , Marcus Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Keniya Johnson, Ronnie Robinson, and Tony Barnes, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
