Mitchell Cox, A caring, loving, hardworking faithful devoted Father, Brother, Son transitioned to a better life on June 1st, 2022 at the age of 57. 

Mitch is survived by his parents; Ramon Best and Evelyn Carmon. Daughter; Aujanae Cox-Golden.

Brothers: Victor & Katherine Evans, Bryan & Renee Cox, Ramon Cox. Sisters; Shelby & Russell Dent, 

Gwendolyn Owens, Darlene Williams, Charlene Best, Antoinette Best, 

Tammy Louise Best-Grimes, Wendy Ann Sprueill; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He is Predeceased by his Step Father Malton Carmon Who also helped raised Mitch. 

Mitchell was born in Winterville, North Carolina on December 21, 1664 to Ramon Best & Evelyn Carmon. He attended and graduated from D.H Conley High School in 1983. While receiving education, Mitch was also known for his athletic skills. He did not discriminate against any sport, he played them All. Cox attended Merced College in 1984, during his course of study, he decided to change his career and join the military where he served 5 years and 11 months. After Mitchell completed his assignment in the army, he immediately moved to Seattle Washington in 1990 where he worked and lived for the rest of his life. 

He enjoyed helping others no matter the what the situation was. He was known for his loyalty and his faithfulness to others. His family meant everything to him. Just as he served in the military he served his family the same way. With dignity and pride. There was never a dull moment with Mitch, he was very outgoing and brought light to every room he walked in. Mitchell will be truly missed .
