It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miriam Huertas Torres, who left this world on October 24, 2025. Miriam was born on December 12, 1982, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to her beloved mother Elba Torres.

Miriam was a loving and devoted mother to five beautiful children: Mialynd, Hakeim, Kadeem, Zahkia, and Zahmud. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren.

During her time on Earth, Miriam worked as a caretaker, always putting the needs of others before her own. She had a zest for life and enjoyed nothing more than having a good time with friends and family.

Although Miriam may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Miriam.
