It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike Leighly, who was born on September 12, 1973 and passed away suddenly on January 25, 2026. Mike was a beloved resident of Batavia, Illinois, United States.

Mike was the loving son of Louis and Joan Leighly. He is survived by his adoring daughter, Florence, and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Over the last 2.5 years Mike battled depression. Over the past year he had made big strides in battling this insidious disease but finally lost the battle.

Mike's unexpected departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family.
