"Goodbyes are not forever; goodbyes are not the end; they simply mean I’ll miss you until we meet again." –Palitha Ariyarathna

Today we are here to celebrate the extraordinary life of a truly remarkable and unforgettable woman, Michelle Belia Canizales-Cabrera. Born on October 28, 1960, in Prescott, Arizona. Michelle brought boundless joy and laughter to all who were fortunate enough to be in her presence. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to this beautiful soul, who peacefully left us on July 7, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories.

When she was in the 4th grade, she relocated from Arizona to California with her loving family. Michelle attended Telfair Elementary, Pacoima Jr High, and graduated from San Fernando High School. Following her high school years, she pursued higher education at Sawyer Business School. Michelles professional journey began when she landed a job with ABC Studios, which later merged with Walt Disney Studios. She dedicated an impressive 30 years of her life to this esteemed company, leaving a remarkable impact on her colleagues and the entertainment industry.

Michelle lived a life filled with adventure, curiosity, and a zest for trying new things. She had an uncanny ability to liven up any room she entered, she had this vibrance and genuinity that made people gravitate to her. Her infectious laughter could brighten the darkest of days, and her compassionate heart touched the lives of many.

One of Michelle's greatest passions was her love for dancing and music. Whether she was on the beach somewhere in Hermosa or at her beautiful home in Stevensons Ranch. She always brought joy into the room, making everyone laugh. She loved with her whole being, unapologetically herself all of the time. That's what made her so special and so beautiful

Michelle is preceded by her parents Gilbert and Rojelia Canizales and survived by her husband, Mickey Cabrera who shared many beautiful moments by her side. She also leaves behind her Goddaughter/Niece, Kiana Hernandez, and puppy Luna. Michelle’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family– she was a pillar of love, support, laughter, joy for all of her siblings, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends

Those fortunate enough to call Michelle a friend knew her as someone who could brighten the darkest of days with her infectious laughter and unwavering support. She was a champion of bringing people together and creating bonds that would last a lifetime. Michelle’s memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her passion for music and dancing brought hours of fun and laughter with everyone around her. Her kindness, warmth, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing her legacy of love and vibrant spirit will continue to live on, inspiring all those who were touched by her presence.
