Cadle, Michele Anne Michele Anne Cadle, 64, passed away on February 8, 2017 at 's Sherman Home in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on January 10, 1953 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Alfred and Filomena DeVito. Michele grew up in Norwalk and graduated from Central Catholic High School in Norwalk in 1971. After high school, she attended the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport Connecticut where she received her BS degree in chemistry. Michele was a proud recipient of numerous scholarships and academic awards. She worked for several companies as a research chemist and laboratory product manager prior to meeting her husband. Michele married Monte Cadle in 1982 in White Sulphur Springs, WV. They were happily married for 34 years. Michele was a supporting member of The Phoenix Art Museum, The Desert Botanical Garden and other organizations. Michele was a dedicated Catholic. She delighted in international travel with her husband and family. She enjoyed visiting places as diverse as Singapore, Paris, Monte Carlo, Rome and Venice to name just a few. When her eldest son was stationed in Baghdad, Iraq with the US Army, Michele made sure that not only her son but also all his soldier friends received a continuous supply of care packages from home. Later in life after her children had grown she had the pleasure of starting her own tax preparation business. She became an enrolled agent with the IRS and received great satisfaction in providing tax preparation services particularly for the aging and infirm, often pro bono. Michele is survived by her spouse Monte of Phoenix, AZ; her children, Jeffrey Cadle (Clarissa) of Phoenix, AZ and William Cadle of Phoenix, AZ, her sister Elizabeth Evans (James) of Bluffton, SC and brother Fred DeVito (Cathy) of Enfield, CT. Her grandchildren, Erika, Rosa, Eva and Sofia of Phoenix, AZ; her nieces Rosa DeVito of Enfield, CT and Amanda DeVito of Bridgeport, CT; her nephew Sean Evans of Bluffton, SC and other relatives. Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Filomena (Rubino) DeVito. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul's catholic church on March 29th at 11:00. Interment at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary in Scottsdale will follow the mass. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to , 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix AZ 85014 (602-530-6992).
