Michael Daugherty, beloved husband, father, and hard-working man, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on June 24, 1976, to Leo and Ruth Daugherty, who must have been quite the dynamic duo to raise such a character.

Michael is survived by his five children, Joshua, Taija, Kylea, Destinee, and Jayla. He was also a proud grandparent to three grandchildren. Knowing Michael, he probably had all three of them fishing and camping before they could even walk.

When he wasn't busy being a family man, Michael could be found indulging in getting some down time, what he calls “resting his eyes” He could do anything to fixing a car to a house , he loved playing chess, flying drones and bible study with his kids would be the greatest.He was a true outdoorsman in every sense of the word and could probably start a campfire with just a stick and a stone.

Michael will always be remembered for his infectious laughter, his love of adventure, and his ability to brighten up any room with his presence. The world is a little less colorful without him in it, but we take comfort in knowing that he's up in heaven, probably organizing a fishing tournament or playing chess with the angels.
