We are gathered here today to remember and celebrate the life of Micheal Edwards, who passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 51 in a car accident. Born on October 27, 1972 in Gary, Indiana, Micheal was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and love for his family.

Micheal is survived by his loving wife Jackie Pointer and their four children: Demetrius, Lamya, Latonya, and Damon. He was a dedicated father and husband, always putting his family first and making sure they were taken care of.

After graduating from Lew Wallace High School in 1990, Micheal furthered his education at Indiana University, graduating in 1995. He went on to work as a Burn Furnace operator until his retirement in 2026. In his free time, Micheal could often be found on the sidelines of the Little League football organization, coaching and cheering on young athletes.

Micheal will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and his passion for coaching. He may be gone, but his memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Micheal. Your laughter and love will be missed dearly.
