Micheal Tomlinson, 36, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed on September 23, 2021. He was born to Belinda Tomlinson (Brooks) and Willie Tomlinson Sr. In the late afternoon of September 23, 2021 , our Heavenly Father called our beloved Father, Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Friend to his place of eternal rest.

Micheal was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee where he attended school and became employed as a forklift operator. Micheal was unfortunately preceeded in death by his oldest son Jamerien Douglass (19). Also preceeding him in death was his father Willie Tomlinson, his grand parents, J.W. Brooks, Cleophus Tomlinson and Dora Lee Tomlinson. Micheal also lost his Brother-in-Law, Mario Cox.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory are, his mother, Belinda Tomlinson, of Jackson, TN and Grandmother Flossie Brooks also of Jackson TN. He also leaves behind his wife Claudette Cox and their 3 beautiful children, Umarien Cox (16), Jaylon Cox (13), and his baby girl Uriyah Cox (10) all of Jackson TN. Micheal also has a grand daughter, Ja'Raiah Rivers (1 month), whom he never had the honor of meeting but he loved her to pieces. He also leaves behind 4 siblings. His three sisters, Lakisha (Steven) Godwin of Irving TX; Turkessa Brooks of Antioch TN and Chasity Drehers of Olive Branch MS. and his only BLOOD brother, Willie Tomlinson of Jackson TN. Micheal also has three amazing brothers-in-laws- Anthony Fuller of Jackson TN, Cedric Cox of Dallas GA, and Keith Cox of Las Vegas Nevada. He will truly be missed by a host of Aunts and Uncles, Neices anbd Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and lets not forget his brothers in Backwood all who he loved dearly. Truly he will be missed, his many acts of kindness, thoughtfulness and positive attitude will be his legacy.
