With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable individual, Michael Shaffer, who departed this world after his vehicle was struck by a drunk driver EMT's pronounced Michael dead at the scene on January 22, 2024 in Norfolk Virginia Michael was born on October 11, 1985, in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, Michael is survived by a younger brother Jesse Shaffer 36 of Hummelstown, Mother Tracy Shaffer 60 of Hummelstown, Father Todd Shaffer 62 of Pine Grove, Stepmother Vanna Shaffer 52 of Pine Grove, Daughter Kaylee Shaffer 14 of Grantville, and ex-wife Tasha Shaffer 34 of Grantville.he brought boundless joy and touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Michael lived a life that was filled with adventure, compassion, and insatiable curiosity. A charismatic soul, he effortlessly lit up any room he entered, captivating everyone with his infectious laughter and captivating stories. His genuine kindness and unwavering support were the foundation of countless meaningful relationships.
