Michael P. MiethBuffalo - Michael Patrick Mieth, a Buffalo resident since 2014 and formerly of Highland and Hopewell Junction, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was 40.Michael was born on January 11, 1977 in Buffalo. His family later relocated to the Hudson Valley, where he attended local schools, and graduated from Valley Central High School in Montgomery. As a mechanic, he worked for several companies in the local area and Buffalo region as well. An avid New York Mets fan, he also enjoyed many hobbies such as fishing and cars. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. Michael is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen McCann of Buffalo; his sons, Taylor and Jaydan Mieth; his daughter, Sydney; his brothers, Time Mieth & his wife Lenore of Highland and Robert Mann & his wife Olana of Texas; his sisters, Jennifer McCann of Beacon and JennyAnn Linton & her husband Mike of Buffalo; his godmother, Patricia McCann of Mohegan Lake; five nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Michael J. Mieth; his grandparents, Bernard & Mary T. McCann; and his aunt and uncle, Bernadette & Robert Cannon.Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 6th at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. immediately following the calling hours.
