Passed in peace after a long battle with health issues. He is the son of Roy C. Fain and Carolyn L. Fain. He is survived by his only brother Charles Daniel Fain.  Mike was a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School Class of 77. He later attended the University of Houston and completed an MBA and Doctorate in Law. He was a national level speech competitor and coach for many years. He worked for Exxon Mobile, University of Houston, Houston and Aldine ISD. He had a passion for public speaking and helping younger students by coaching debate teams at the High School and University level. He was a member of the Alpha-Phi-Alpha Fraternity and Masons. He will be missed.
