Michael L. Rushing, 52, of N. Las Vegas, Nevada passed away suddenly but peacefully on May 14, 2020. He was born Nov. 8, 1967 in Warren, Michigan to the late Jimmie Rushing of Port Huron, Michigan and the late Joyce (French) Rushing of Center Line, Michigan. Brother to his beloved late sister Tina Rushing of Center Line, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Cindy Rushing of N. Las Vegas, Nevada, his sisters Laura Reed and Val Rushing of Center Line, Michigan, his daughters Stephanie (Chris) Stewart and Lauren Rushing and granddaughters Kara and Elena Stewart all of Huber Heights, Ohio. Also many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Michael served in the US Army May 14, 1987 through February 6, 1992. SPC E4 91A- Medical Specialist. Honors: Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Expert Field Medical Badge, Expert Badge Rifle, Sharpshooter Badge Grenade, Army Lapel Button, Service in Southwest Asia (Gulf War) 10/15/1990 - 4/20/1991. Service Medal w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars. Honorable Discharge.

Michael worked several jobs throughout his life and his last was a OTR truck driver for Decker Truck Line, Inc. He loved the job but hated being away from home. He would take his wife along with him for weeks at a time. During their marriage they have traveled together to almost every state throughout the country. He loved learning and seeing new things. He always challenged himself. Michael was very intelligent and had a great sense of humor. He loved making people laugh and was great at telling jokes. He would be the first one there to help in any situation. Michael loved doing many things including darts, shooting pool, fishing, bowling, golfing, gambling, camping. He was one amazing cook.
