Michael Gumbinger1947 - 2013Michael Gumbinger, 66, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Manor Care Kenosha. Michael was born on Nov. 1, 1947, in Kenosha, the son of the late Jerome and Grace (Roemer) Gumbinger. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, and was a graduate of the first class at Tremper High School. He married Robyn Henoch on May 10, 1969, in Kenosha, they later divorced. He was owner/operator of Gumbinger Inc., a magazine distribution co. His hobbies included photography, golfing, backgammon, cheering for the Packers, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Katie (Nir) Orpali of Delray Beach, Fla.; brothers, Keith (Carol) Gumbinger of Kenosha, Johnny (Pauline) Gumbinger of Everett, Wash., Mark Gumbinger of Kenosha; sisters, Maryanne (Dick) Zimmerman of Ohio, Nancy (Stan) Milkowski of Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Baoquin Li Gumbinger; three grandchildren, Christina, Lorelei, and Makala; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, David Michael Gumbinger. A greeting time with the family will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4- p.m. with funeral services to follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Hospice Alliance Inc. or Kenosha History Center would be appreciated.
