He was born on January 28, 1956 in Lebanon, the son of Delores Griffiths, Lebanon and the late Gordon Griffiths. Michael was the husband of Donna Griffiths. Michael was a Correctional Officer at FCI Schuykill where he retired. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 23 and Friendship Fire Company. He was an avid John Wayne fan and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is son, Anthony Griffiths of Arlington, VA; stepchildren, Carissa, wife of Brad Kern, Lebanon, Stephanie, wife of Gary Speed, Myerstown, and Greg, husband of Ashley Rocker, KiIleen, TX ; seven step grandchildren; brothers, Gordon, husband of Sandy Griffiths, Leesport, and Lamont Griffiths of Lebanon. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St, Lebanon, 17042 on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. with a viewing from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. There will be a viewing on Monday, June 5, 2017 in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. from 6 until 8 p.m. Interment will be in Covenant Greenwood Cemetery, Lebanon. www.rohlandfh.com
