SIDNEY — Michael J. Goings, 67, of Sidney, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 201,6 at 9:15 p.m. at his residence.

He was born on March 27, 1949, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Robert and Mary (Game) Goings.

He is survived by long-time companion, Dawn (Webb) Auville Goings; three sons, Michael Jr., Robert and Brian (Christy) Goings, all of Sidney; one daughter, Angela Webb Goings, of Sidney; two brothers, David Goings, of Sidney, and Ronnie Goings Sr., of Kirkwood; two sisters, Karen (Robert) Taylor, and Deborah (Virgil) Case, both of Sidney; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Philip Goings, one granddaughter, Mary Goings, and one nephew, Josh Lawson.

In keeping with Mr. Goings wishes, his body will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney.
