Our beloved brother, uncle & friend passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the age of 61. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on October 12th and died 18 days later at home with his family at his side. He was born on August 6, 1949 in Smithfield, Utah, to Bartley H. Richardson and Fern Hadfield Richardson Jensen, both deceased. He was a graduate of North Cache High School in Richmond, Utah and Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Mike is survived by three brothers and their wives, Lynn & Sandy of Ogden, Utah; Dennis & Sharon of Lead, SD and Bruce and Jean of Star Idaho; several nieces and nephews and their families plus a host of friends. He lived in Los Angeles for 23 years, working as a designer and sales representative in the fashion industry and traveled extensively throughout his career. Forsaking city life, he moved to Spearfish, arriving on April Fool's Day 1994 in the middle of a blizzard. He became a real estate broker and founded Help-U-Rent property management service with his sister-in-law, Sharon. He was very active in the Local and South Dakota State Board of Realtors.
