Michael Shelby, 64, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on December 26, 2025. He was born on April 2, 1961, to Oriental and Joanne Cannon Shelby.

Michael was a loving father to his son, Michael Cortez Shelby, and adored his six grandchildren. He was a proud graduate of Hillcrest High School, class of 1979.

Michael had a passion for shooting basketball and was known to be a skilled bowler. He brought joy to those around him with his competitive spirit and infectious laughter.

Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the joy and love he shared with his family and friends.
