It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Velasquez, who was born on September 10, 1974, and passed away on July 19, 2025, in Nashville, North Carolina, United States. Michael is survived by his father, Kenny Williams, and his mother, Barber Velasquez. He is also survived by his two beloved children, Matthew Barefoot and Alexis Velasquez.

Michael was a loving father, son, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had a passion for drawing, working out, and coloring, and would often spend hours indulging in his hobbies.

Michael's memory will live on through his children and all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. He will be forever remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family.
