Michael "The Tackle" Hicks, beloved husband of Tabitha, has left this earthly plane on October 2, 2025. Born on November 3, 1967, in Camden, New Jersey, he was the son of George and Hattie Mae Hicks.

Despite his lack of offspring, Michael was a dedicated employee at East Side High School where he undoubtedly touched the lives of many students and faculty members alike. Known for his prowess on the football field, Michael was a force to be reckoned with, earning him the nickname "The Tackle."

Although he may have tackled his opponents on the field, Michael had a heart of gold off the field. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and had a contagious sense of humor that brightened the lives of all who knew him.

While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul, we take comfort in knowing that Michael is now reunited with his parents in the great football stadium in the sky. Rest in peace, dear friend. You may have left us too soon, but your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
