Pankratz, Merrie AnnMerrie Ann Pankratz age 75 of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. Merrie Ann was born on September 2, 1941 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She graduated from Central High in the class of 1956. Merrie Ann was married to Le Roy Hurtienne on the same day her father was married to her step-mother, Eleanor. In 1971 Le Roy preceded Merrie Ann in death and Merrie Ann was remarried in 1973 to Gerald Pankratz. Gerald also preceded her in death. Before having children, Merrie Ann worked at the courthouse for a few years. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Brewers and spending time with her family. She loved watching her grandchildren excel at sports.Merrie Ann was preceded in death by her first and second husbands; brother, John Heyn; nephew, James Heyn and niece, Carol Swanson-Casper.She is survived by three children, Scott Hurtienne and his two children, Camryn and Brandyn, Dawn Hurtienne (Jerry Geiger) and their three children, Teresa, Heather and Dominic, and Paul (Ginny) Hurtienne and their son, Nate; four step-children who she loved as her own, Debbie (Jeff) Feld, Barb Pankratz, Donald Pankratz and Shawn Pankratz; nine step grandchildren who she loved dearly; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Ries and Helen Jean "Jeannie" Spooner.There will be a Celebration of Life for Merrie Ann on Saturday, March 18th at the Sheboygan Knights of Columbus Center, 833 Center Ave., from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. where food will be served.
