Breslow, Merlin L.Merlin L. Breslow, 68 years, of Mayville passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his home.A visitation for Merlin will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joy Mortensen-Wiebe officiating. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville, Wisconsin.Merlin was born on October 12, 1948 the son of Gerald and Anita (Pribnow) Breslow in Fond du Lac. He was a 1966 graduate of Mayville High School and completed the Farm and Industry Short Course at UW-Madison. On July 21, 1990, he was united in marriage to RoxAnn Lowe at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.He was a lifelong farmer in the Town of Lomira. He had also been employed with Orkin and was a co-founder for Fly Control Guys. Merlin was a faithful and active member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville and was on the St. Paul Cemetery Committee. He was also very active in the community. He was on the Dodge County Coop Board of Directors and was a Knowles Volunteer Fireman. Merlin enjoyed bowling, casino trips and being a member of the Al Wondra Baseball Team.Merlin is survived by his wife RoxAnn; his children: Michelle (Darren) Volbright of Mayville, Cindy (Frank) Mielke of Fond du Lac, Thomas Breslow of Slinger and Angela (Randy) Hecker of Mayville; ten grandchildren: RaeAnn, Bryce, Brandon, Jaequan, Tanner, Josie, Javaun, Kaliya, Xavier and Evelyn; his sisters and brother: Geraldine Luebke of Mayville, Deloris (Merlin) Zastrow of Waupun, Lloyd (Jermaine) Breslow of Mayville and Arlene (Ronald) Brinkmann of Hartford. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Elizabeth Zuelsdorf and his brother-in-law Ralph Luebke.The Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville is serving the family.
