Melvin H. Starks RACINE Mr. Melvin H. Starks, 64, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015. Melvin was born on July 24, 1950 to Hester Starks and Eudora Mayfield in New Albany, MS. He earned his high school diploma from Horlick High School. Melvin was employed by St. Lukes Hospital for over fifteen years. Left to cherish his memories is his sister, Elizabeth Gray (Darryl Stacey); brother, John Starks; special aunt, Annie Ruth Howell as was as a host of other loving relatives and friends. He was Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two siblings, Dorothy and Roy Lee Patterson. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. D. Ross and the entire staff at Wheaton Franciscan and the staff at Becker-Schoop for the wonderful care given to Melvin. A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Draeger- Langendorf Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1011am. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
