(Hopkins) Hopper in Manzanola, Colorado.Mel was in active duty in U.S. Air Force from 1943 through April 1946, serving in the WWII earning the Victory Medal. He lived in Ivanhoe most of his life and was very well known in Woodlake and Ivanhoe. Mel will be dearly remember by his nieces, Linda Geither of Richland, WA., Christina Moran of Windsor, CA., his nephews, Clifftun Whittemore of Windsor, CA., Brian Gaither of Pasco, WA., and many friends.A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlake Public Cemetery, 165 N.
