Melvin Cole, a beloved resident of Long Beach, California, journeyed on from this world on February 09, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on April 15, 1936, Melvin experienced a rich and fulfilling life. With a zest for adventure and an infectious smile, he was cherished by many within the community. Known for his kindness and generosity, Melvin always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved spending time outdoors, relishing in the beauty of nature. Melvin's unwavering optimism and gentle nature will be deeply missed by friends and acquaintances alike. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Melvin is survived by his four children Compton, Brian, Jeremy, Stacy and lastly his only two grandchildren Terrell and Tasha Cole. Melvin also had one son Casey which passed, who was the father of Terrell and Tasha. Melvin was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

A celebration of life service will be held February 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Life Center Assembly of God Church in Lakewood, CA. Following a repass will be held at 11:30 AM in the fellowship hall. We want everyone to celebrate the life of Melvin with us, it is what he would of wanted with all his family and friends.
