Melvin Williams, 68, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed on May 14, 2023. Melvin was born on August 27, 1954.He was born in New Orleans, La. He was born to Martha Smith Williams and Major Williams Sr.

He had four sisters Imma Williams Jackson, Augusta Williams, Oriella Williams, and Irene Williams Dixon. His brothers are Major Williams II, Calvin Williams, and Larry Williams Sr. He was married to Wendy Boston Williams. He has a daughter Kendra Williams, a step daughter, step son, a step grandchild, and a grand daughter.

He attended Port Allen High school. He worked for Barba's Brothers. He enjoyed doing wood work and drawing portraits.

He lived in Baton Rouge, La. He was by surrounded by his Wife, Kids, Grandkids his Siblings, and a host of Nieces and Nephews and his best friend Willie Williams.

His Services will be Friday, May 23,2023 at 11:00 am visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:00 am. Hall Davis Funeral Home will be in Charge of Services.
