Melissa Barnes, beloved daughter of Nelson and Melinda, passed away on June 15, 2025 in Augusta, Georgia, United States. She was born on August 5, 1975.

Melissa is survived by her three children, Keisha Barnes, Sheldon Barnes, and Kevin Barnes. She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Melissa fought a courageous battle against cancer until the very end.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
