Melissa Smith, a beloved member of the Midway community, passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 53. Survivors include her husband: Anthony Cox; her mother and step father: Carole and Steve; one daughter and son-in-law: Annyessa and Wesley; one daughter and son-in-law: Starr and Michael; four grandchildren: Tucker, McKinley, Jameson and Leah. Born on September 20, 1971, Melissa was known for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering sense of compassion. Melissa will be remembered for her selflessness, optimism, and the love she shared with everyone she met. Her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to have her in their lives. May she rest in peace.
