It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Melissa Pollitt, who was born on January 24, 1968, in Camden, New Jersey, United States. Melissa passed away on January 25, 2025.

Melissa was the beloved daughter of Donald Pollitt and Deborah Pollitt (predeceased) and the sister of Gina Pollitt Arncy Pollitt-Tar and Donna Pollitt. She leaves behind her three children, Tiffaney Pollitt (spouse Hasan Stewart), Chenise Pollitt, and Brittny Pollitt. Melissa was also a loving grandmother to two grandchildren (Saadiq and Saadeya Shaw)

Melissa attended Camden High School and graduated in 1986. She went on to work in Healthcare, where she dedicated herself to helping others. In her free time, Melissa enjoyed dancing and reading.

Unfortunately, Melissa's life was cut short by Alzheimer's Dementia. Her memory will live on through her children and grandchildren, who will always cherish the time they had with her.

Melissa Pollitt will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
