On July 25, 2025, Mulberry, Florida lost a beloved member of their community. Mckenzie Stokes, born on April 20, 1953, passed away surrounded by loved ones.

Mckenzie was a dedicated U.S Army Veteran who served his country with honor and pride. He was a loving father to Kendall Boyd, Chadwick Stokes, Averill Stokes, and Glen Alexander. His children were his pride and joy, and he instilled in them the values of hard work and perseverance.

McKenzie leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. His memory will be cherished by his 10 grandchildren, who adored their grandfather and will always remember his warmth and kindness.

Born to Ernestine Brewton and Betty Dixon, McKenzie was raised with a strong sense of family values and loyalty. He carried these values with him throughout his life, always putting his loved ones first.

McKenzie will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His smile, his generosity, and his unwavering love will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
