Mazie Mae Smith, 90, passed on October 17, 2022. She was born to Melvin Smith and Mae Anne Smith in Dunn, North Carolina on May 16, 1932.

She married David Monds and they lived together in Richmond, Virginia. Together they raised 3 children Bobby Smith, Maggie Bristow, Jacquelyn Smith (John Smith). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Mazie worked at Mother of Church, Cook and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She also volunteered at the Red Cross Foundation.
