We gather here today to mourn the passing of Maxine Snead, beloved wife of Jerry Snead. Maxine was born on July 3, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was known for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and insatiable love for ice cream. Maxine could always be found with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.
Despite her best efforts, Maxine never quite managed to master the art of cooking. Her kitchen mishaps were legendary among family and friends, with Jerry often joking that he kept the local takeout restaurants in business.
Maxine was a devoted fur mom to her three cats, Mittens, Whiskers, and Fluffy. She often joked that they were her children, and they brought her endless joy and companionship.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Stella Martinez, Brothers, Nieces and Nephews. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Snead, and her three fur babies, siblings Jim (Marcia) Martinez , Delores Martinez, Carol (Robert) Valdez, Sharon (Heraldo deceased) Montano, Josie Tovar, Rick (Linda) Tovar, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal shelter in Maxine's memory. She would have loved nothing more than to help out her furry friends in need.
Rest in peace, Maxine. May your laughter and love live on in our hearts forever. You will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be later announced. Cremation Services by Redwood Memorial and Funeral Home.
