We are saddened to announce the passing of Maurice Carter, who left this world on April 28, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Maurice was born on February 9, 1947.

He is survived by his loving spouse Marion Carter, whom he married in the year 1971 and their four children: Adrian, Karen (and spouse Carlos), Malinda, and Brandon (and spouse Felicia). Maurice was also a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren.

Maurice spent many years working at a steel mill before retiring in 1995. He was known for his hard work, dedication, and sense of humor. Maurice had a passion for fishing, spending time with his family, and cheering on his beloved Chicago sports teams.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but we take comfort in knowing that Maurice is now reunited with his parents and watching over his family from above.
