It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mattie Gordon, 81, of Odessa, Texas. Mattie departed this world on November 17, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1944, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. Mattie was known for her compassionate spirit and selfless nature, always putting others before herself. She had a zest for life and a contagious smile that brightened the days of all who knew her. Mattie will be deeply missed by her friends, neighbors, and all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her. May she rest in eternal peace. She was loved by her family and will be deeply missed, my grandmother had away of making everyone feel safe. Her love and kindness will stay with us forever. She may be gone, but everything she taught us lives through us forever. She lived a full life full of love,strength,and grace and we'er grateful we had the time we had with her!!!
