Matthew Davis, born on July 19, 2000, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, passed away on April 21, 2024. He was the beloved son of Adam and Tina Davis. Beloved grandson to Sandra Elliot. And loving brother to Megan Davis and Haylie Ayer’s.

Matthew attended Northfield High School, graduating in 2018. After completing his education, he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he worked diligently and rose to the rank of Sergeant.

During his time in the Marine Corps, Matthew displayed exceptional courage, dedication, and leadership skills. He served his country with pride and honor, always putting the well-being of his fellow Marines above his own.

Matthew was a devoted son, brother, friend, and colleague. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Although Matthew did not have any children of his own, he leaves behind a legacy of courage and selflessness that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Matthew Davis will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
