Marshall Riley, born on March 17, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on September 3, 2024. He was the beloved son of James Willie and Lillie Fields. Marshall was married to Virginia Zimmerman in 20 and together they raised six children: Tubar, Kendu (spouse Cheryl Wright), Rasun (spouse Linda), Davida, Tim Carver, and one other.

Marshall devoted himself to his education, graduating from Colleton County High School in 1995 and continuing his studies at Vorhees College, where he graduated in 1957. He pursued a career as a pharmacy technician, retiring in 28 after many years of dedicated service.

Marshall will be remembered for his loving nature, his dedication to his family, and his hard work throughout his life. He leaves behind seventeen grandchildren Tansha Riley, Ashley Wright-Riley, Darryl Riley j.r., Little Darryl Riley, Rayne Riley, Kenda Riley, twenty-eight great grandchild and one great-great grandchild three sisters, Anna Belle Lingard(Earl), Patricia Hassell (Reggie) and Edna R. Green, all of Ruffin, S.C. and one sister-in-law, Viola Lingard Riley to cherish his memory.
