COLUMBIA CITY — Mary B. Pepple, 71, a resident of Union Township, Whitley County, died at 11:03 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born was born on January 13, 1943, in Berne, Indiana, a daughter of Raymond Henry and Donna V. Weaver Snyder. Her formative years were spent in Decatur, where she completed her formal education. On January 13, 1961, she was united in marriage to Gene Pepple and they have spent most of their married life in the Columbia City community. Mary was employed at the Blue Bell Company for several years. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed needle crafts and growing flowers in her yard. The surviving relatives include her husband, Gene; a daughter, Robin (Terry) Werstler, Larwill; a son, Mark (Heather) Pepple, Churubusco; and grandchildren, Brooke and Thad Werstler, Colleen, Katie and Sarah Pepple and Cole and Paige Stauffer. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Fairview Cemetery in Huntertown. At Mary's request, there will be no visitation.
