Mary Marie Valence, 75, of Battle Creek, MI passed away peacefully March 5, 2018. She was born to the late Millard and Nellie Norman on October 29, 1933, in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Mary graduated from Wausau High School where she was proud to be a majorette for all four years. In 1960 she met Harry, and they fell for each other immediately. They married September 4, 1961, when he returned from military service. Mary's life was spent lovingly devoted to her husband and family, and they to her. She found so much pride and joy in her grandchildren. 

Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Valence; and is survived by her children; Edith Valence,  and Harriet (Steven) Kincaid.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and private family services will be held. 

The family is grateful for the condolences but declines flowers and donations.
