Ruehr, Mary LynnMary Lynn Ruehr, age 74, of 6710 County Road Q, Manitowoc, died peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2016 at her residence.Mary was born on July 14, 1942 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Emil and Viola Rose (Dohnal) Stransky. She graduated with the class of 1960 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On January 22, 1994, she married Richard "Dick" J. Ruehr at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Manitowoc. Mary worked as a Sale Rep. for AT&T for 35 years in Green Bay and a switchboard operator for Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and St. Clare Society. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and was a proud grandmother.She is survived by her husband: Richard "Dick" J. Ruehr, Manitowoc; her four children: Kelly (Brian) Wimmer, Manitowoc; Kevin (Julie) Kohls, Manitowoc; Kristen (Don) Davey, Jacksonville, FL; Kieth Kohls, Hartford; two step-daughters: Tami (Chris) Olsen, De Pere; Tiffany Brick, De Pere; sixteen grandchildren: Megan, Cole, and Noah Wimmer; Alyssa and Ben Kohls; Livy, Carly, Kuki, Chloe and Kasey Davey; Sydney, Kendall, Emmerson and Christopher Olsen; Paige and Madison Brick; two sisters: Judy "Weems" Carbon, Green Bay; Audrey Dempsky, Denmark; one brother: Steve Stransky, Francis Creek, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Emil and Viola Stransky. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Pleier will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with inurnment of her cremated remains to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
