Mary Griffin, 90, of Reno, Nevada, passed on November 03, 2020, with her family by her side. Mary was born on June 25, 1930, in Benton, Arkansas to William and Essie Lawry.

Mary wed Henry Griffin in 1948 in Tulare, CA and in 1951 they moved to Hawthorne, NV where they lived until 1974. While working for the civil service they lived in sasebo, Japan, Concord, CA, and Mililani, HI. They retired to Reno in 1990.

Mary spent the last six years of her life courageously battling the effects of Alzheimer's.Mary was preceeded in death by her parents, sisters Alda, and Berta and her huband of 62 years "Griff".

Survivors include her daughters Lynn (Tim) of Reno, and Billie (Gil) of Sparks, grandson Joseph (Katie) of Ashburn, Virginia; along with numerous neices and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetary.
