It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Calvert, who was born on July 12, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She peacefully passed away on November 25, 2025.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Andrea Jackson, James Calvert, and Donnica Calvert. She was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren. Mary was the daughter of Clearance Jackson and Willie Bell Sutton.

Mary dedicated her life to education and worked tirelessly at Elementary schools in Chicago. She was deeply passionate about shaping young minds and making a positive impact in their lives.

Mary will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
