Mary K. AndrusMrs. Mary Kathryn "Katie" Andrus, age 79, of Republic, Missouri, passed away in her home on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25, 2016, with family at her side. She was born on January 24, 1937 in Golden City, Missouri, the daughter of Paul Victor and Ina Gladys (Wade) Mooneyham.Katie was united in marriage to Ralph Edward Andrus on April 28, 1957, and they had two children, Duane and Diane. Family was the most important thing in Katie's life. She enjoyed assisting Ralph in his work; going to the lake; spending time with children and grandchildren; playing the slot machines at various casinos; and traveling with the Republic and Billings area "RV Gang."She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Pauline Shuler and Ray Mooneyham.Katie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ralph; two children and their spouses, Duane and Shelley Andrus, and Diane and John Turano; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two siblings and their spouses, Dale and Joan Mooneyham, and Judy and Charles Padgett; a brother in law, Howard Shuler; a sister in law, Deanna Mooneyham; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 also in the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Rose Hill Cemetery, Billings, Missouri.
