RACINE - Mary Jane (nee: Abrahamson) Hanlon, 93, passed away at her residence, on Monday, May 9, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on January 22, 1923, the daughter of the late Lloyd T. and Anna Doris (nee: Marshall) Abrahamson. After graduating high school, Mary Jane served her country as a WAVE in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1945. She was employed for many years at Massy Ferguson and J.I. Case. Mary Jane was united in marriage to Edward J. Hanlon. He preceded her in death in January 1983. Surviving are her daughters, Joan Mountain of Port Charlotte, FL, and Kathy (Richard) Brewer of Springfield, MO; eight grandchildren, Abby, Sean, David, Jenny, Carrie, Becky, Debbie, and Katie, and son-in-law, John Hoffman. She is further survived by great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, JoEllyn Hoffman.
