Mary Alarid, of Raton, New Mexico passed on April 10, 2021 at the age of 95. She was born on September 15, 1925. A soul that never aged, and known for her feirocity through love and self-education. With a keen mind, she followed in the path of her father. Cultivating a life of musical talent and teachings to share with those around her. She inspired many with her cooking, honesty, and integrity.

Mary was the daughger of Jose Angel and Margarita Lopez-Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Alarid Sr. She is survived by a vast family including four daughters, one son, seventeen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. All of which carry her tradition of love.

At the beloved's request, cremation has taken place and private services are scheduled with the family.
